The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) moved forward with the design / construction of a new interchange along I-96 at 36 th Street in Cascade Township. The new interchange ties into the extension of 36 th Street providing improved access into the area surrounding the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
