The US-23/Lee Road interchange improvements, the by-product of a public-private partnership, resulted in Parsons' development of an innovative, unique and adaptable design to provide added traffic capacity. The implemented design is a series of three roundabouts; two are closely-spaced roundabouts located west of the interchange.

Integrating a 730-car parking ramp into a historic setting challenged the FTC&H, CWI, and Granger Construction team to develop a structure that blends into the historic setting of the MSU North Campus. Innovations in design, engineering systems, and construction techniques resulted in the project being finished early and substantially under budget.

Wayne County's NHV/RV project used OHM's Antecedent Moisture Model, a new methodology for hydrologic modeling. i3D is a continuous model that matches observed flow data over time, accurately predicting how rain events will affect the sanitary sewer system. Sizing the system appropriately, in this case, saved the taxpayers $35 million.

A post-tensioning system, rarely used for bridge rehabilitations, was developed in conjunction with an engineered backfill to reuse the US-24 bridge's existing abutments. New rehabilitation design approaches like this demonstrate how our infrastructure can be reused, rather than replaced, and provide the added benefit of a shortened construction schedule.

The City of Flint's Chevrolet Avenue Bridge had a place in history for its role in the 1930s Sit-Down Strike and its architectural features. Rowe Incorporated replaced the deteriorated bridge with a new structure with similar architectural features. An interpretive site and historical marker honors its labor history.
