Who We Are
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Michigan (ACEC/Michigan) is the business voice of the Michigan consulting engineering industry. Founded in 1956, ACEC/Michigan was organized with the objective of assisting its members in achieving higher professional, business and economic standards, thus enabling them to provide better engineering services in the interest of their clients.
Council members - numbering more than 100 member firms representing over 8,000 employees across the state - are engaged in a wide range of engineering projects that propel the state's economy, and enhance and safeguard Michigan’s quality of life. These works allow Michigan residents to drink clean water, travel safely and efficiently, visit state and local parks, and carry out business in safe public and private buildings.
ACEC/Michigan is a member organization of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the voice of America’s engineering industry representing nearly 6,000 firms across the country.
