Legislative Day
Each year, the organizations that form the Architects-Engineers-Surveyors Legislative Committee (AESLC) jointly host a legislative “lobby” day in Lansing. The goal is to have members of the organizations come to Lansing to visit with their respective legislators and share with them the issues of importance to the engineering, surveying and architectural professions.
This in-person event provides a critical opportunity for industry professionals to engage with legislators, advocate for policies impacting Michigan’s infrastructure, and help shape the future of our transportation system.
Why Attend?
- Meet face-to-face with state lawmakers to discuss pressing infrastructure and engineering-related issues.
- Strengthen relationships with policymakers and industry leaders to ensure the voice of Michigan’s engineering community is heard.
The 2027 Engineers, Architects & Surveyors Legislative Day will be held on Thursday, April 29, at the Michigan State Capitol (Heritage Hall) in Lansing.
Registration information will be posted on the Event Page in early March.
