Scholarships
ACEC of Michigan's Scholarship Program was created to promote the profession and to provide financial support to those individuals pursuing careers in engineering and surveying. On an annual basis, the Council awards scholarships to deserving college students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering or surveying program. Recipients of the awards will be evaluated in the following areas: Work experience, extra-curricular and community activities, references, grade point average, and a written essay.
Applicants must have worked for a private engineering, architectural or surveying firm in the past 24 months. Next year's application will be available by Labor Day.

2021 SCHOLARSHIP RAFFLE
Every year, the ACEC/M Scholarship Committee holds a fundraising event for our scholarship program. The committee will once again be holding a raffle, with the winning ticket drawn at the ACEC/M Engineering & Surveying Excellence Virtual Awards Gala on February 26, 2021.
We will be raffling off the following:
1. Florida Vacation – One week stay at a beautiful three bedroom, ocean front view princess condominium on Hutchinson Island. *Travel expense not included.
Sponsor: Testing Engineers & Consultants and John & Kathy Banicki
2. $500 Airbnb Gift Card
3. $500 Best Buy Card
4. $500 Cabela’s Gift Card
This is the only annual fundraising event for the ACEC Scholarship Program. Proceeds from the raffle go directly to supporting scholarships for college students pursuing a career in engineering or surveying. Your contributions make it possible for us to provide substantial financial support to these hardworking students.
Please consider participating in this year’s fundraising effort. Tickets are $25 each, 3 for $60, or 6 tickets for $100, and only a limited number of tickets are printed (odds of winning are good!).
